About me

I’m a Software Engineer and an Open Source Software enthusiast based out of Mysore, India.

I’m currently a Staff Software Engineer at Cloudera, on the Data Services Platform team.

Before that, I was a Senior Software Engineer at Domino Data Lab, helping their Data Science platform run well on Kubernetes.

Earlier, I worked at Red Hat as a Senior Software Engineer. I was a part of the Red Hat Storage team, and worked on Red Hat Gluster Storage and Red Hat OpenShift Container Storage. I was a contributor to and a maintainer of the Gluster project and maintained the distributed management framework, GlusterD. I also was one of the maintainers of the OpenShift Container Storage project.

Tools

Zine

This is a static website built with Zine, a static site generator written in Zig. The content is written in SuperMD and Ziggy and rendered with SuperHTML templates. Migration from Hugo to Zine content was done with hugo2zine.

Git and GitHub

The source for the site is version controlled with Git and hosted on GitHub. The repository is kshlm/kshlm.in.

Services

Cloudflare Workers

The site is served from Cloudflare Workers, deployed with Wrangler.

GitHub Actions

A GitHub Actions workflow builds the site with Zine and deploys it to Cloudflare Workers.

Theme

The site uses a custom theme built for Zine, designed in the spirit of Typographical, a typography-focused Hugo theme.

The theme was ported to Zine with help from pi and GLM-5.2.
